Matt Holyoak for Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2014

Glamour UK’s July 2014 issue is all about their Women of the Year Awards. There were four different covers you could buy with Alexa Chung, Nicole Kidman, Sam Claflin and Kristen Wiig.

My favourite images from this issue were by a well known fashion and portrait photographer, Matt Holyoak. He captured the majority of the winners in the studio. The photographs of Jenna Coleman, who won the UK TV Actress award, stand out for me from the others. I love the playful snapshot-style of the photographs, bringing out her fun personality. The natural photographs, capturing the winners in a smile or a conversation, are so much more relatable for me.
